Steelers vs Panthers Post-Game

My Pittsburgh Steelers curb-stomped the Carolina Panthers 52-21 last night in a game which was more lopsided than the final score itself.  Here are some takeaways from last night’s domination.

The Good

Plenty of good will to spread around.

Ben Roethlisberger threw for 328 yards and five (FIVE!!!) touchdowns.  Pittsburgh rushed for 138 yards and averaged 4.6 per rush.  The team was penalized only once (damn you, Artie Burns).

And how about that now much-improved defense?  Only 242 yards allowed, five sacks, and two turnovers forced.  Pretty dominate all-around performance if you asked me.

The Bad

You know, there’s not much to nit-pick after a team scores 52 points, and allows only 21 — with the last seven coming in garbage time.

The only worry is James Conner ending up in concussion protocol.  Here’s hoping he recovers soon.

The Ugly

52-21.  ‘Nuff said…
