NFL Week 7 Game Day Updates

It’s NFL GameDay Updates – Week 7 Edition!

In no particular order here are the injuries and updates that will be affecting both your Fantasy Football team and/or your favorite NFL Club.

Chicago Bears DE/LB Khalil Mack is going to be suiting up for the HUGE matchup against the New England Patriots today via NFL Networks Ian Rapoport.

In the same game Pats TE Rob Gronkowski did not make the trip to Chi-Town after his back “locked up” on Friday. This after fighting an ankle injury all week. As one who suffers from chronic back issues, when it goes, it goes. He won’t be on the field today.

San Diego Los Angeles Chargers RB Melvin Gordon is going to be a game-time decision. His issue got worse during the flight to London. My sources say he will try but that he probably will NOT be a go.

RB Carlos Hyde will NOT be suiting up for the Cleveland Browns today. After the trade, Hyde is a Jacksonville Jaguar now and will receive limited snaps in this regard. However, with Hyde gone it’s rookie Nick Chubb time in Cleveland!

For you IDP players out there Cincinnati Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict got hit with a hefty fine ($112,000) but will not have to miss any games. Miami’s DE Cameron Wake is expected to suit up after missing several weeks. Also, the Detroit Lions have announced Ezekiel Ansah will not play due to a shoulder injury.

The New York Jets have cut WR Terrelle Pryor. A groin injury is reportedly keeping Pryor out at the moment, however, the team cut him regardless, citing his injury as the reason. A few things to take from this. The Browns, though talented and exciting this season, are still just as dysfunctional as ever. You don’t cut a player who will miss two weeks with a groin injury. You do lie about cutting a player if it was your department that was sold on the player that didn’t work out. And why has he not worked out? He is a hard worker, he has 3 TD’s on the season and is a physical mismatch on the field. Something is going on here. At this point, all we actually know is not to believe anything the Browns front office says.

Last up, Washington Redskins’ RB Adrian Peterson will play today. Of course he will.
