Training Room: Fantasy Football Injury Updates – Week 12

Gobble Gobble to all! I want to wish you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I will be in a car driving to the happiest place on earth. So have some turkey for me! With that, let’s get to the injuries.

Alex Smith, QB, WAS – Man, do look up that video like I did. Alex is out for the season and Colt McCoy is in under center. In deeper leagues, Colt isn’t a bad option.

Marcus Mariota, QB, TEN – The elbow again?!?! Why can’t we get Corey Davis some consistent QB love here? Bench Mariota until he is clear and healthy, but if in a win now situation drop him now.

Ryan Tannehill, QB, MIA – It’s looking like his is back this week. Stash if needed, but do not play until we see it first.

Joe Flacco, QB, BAL – Flacco might be done in Baltimore, especially if Lamar Jackson continues to play well. Drop Joe, it’s over until next year.

Kerryon Johnson, RB, DET – Ugh, this one sucks. He is out already with a knee and its Blount and Riddick’s show. I’d lean on Riddick if in a pinch, but Blount could fall in the end zone.

D’Onta Foreman, RB, HOU – Will he return this season? We could know very soon. Stash him in dynasty for sure.

A.J. Green, WR, CIN – Green is dealing with a toe and could play this week. This is a better matchup this week, if he goes play him…we need you A.J.!

Rob Gronkowski, TE, NE – He is expected to be back this week. Fingers crossed!

Jimmy Graham, TE, GB – Mad props to Jimmy if he does indeed play, but I am dropping him in redraft leagues. Hopefully, you have Cameron Brate, Jack Doyle, or Heuerman.

O.J. Howard, TE, TB – As of Wednesday, it was announced that he is done for the season. Cameron Brate time! Brate is a low-end TE1 moving forward.

Don’t bother with the following players anymore in redraft leagues if you need to win now:

Darren Sproles, RB, PHI

Ronald Jones, RB, TB

Chris Thompson, RB, WAS

Marvin Jones, WR, DET

Randall Cobb, WR, GB

Pierre Garcon, WR, SF

Jamison Crowder, WR, WAS
