Now that’s a great title. The content of the article is almost superfluous.
On Tuesday Philip Rivers was all smiles as he responded to an inquiry in regards to the club possibly singing former Charger Antonio Gates to help strengthen the TE corps after Hunter Henry went down for the season.
Philip Rivers, on possibility of Chargers bringing back Antonio Gates: “I’d always be excited if he walked back in the door. … It would get my vote.”

It seems Rivers and Gates have stayed in contact and it’s no secret the two had a special chemistry on the field. Injured or not, last season Henry showed he is the future. That being said the past may have one final run in the sun left in his tank, and it could lead to a Super Bowl appearance for the future Hall of Fame TE.
Now wouldn’t that would be an awesome story?
