Chargers Blue White Scrimmage 10AM Today

This Saturday at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex at 10 a.m. PST the San Diego Chargers will have their first (ever) Blue White Scrimmage and SportsTalkLine will be there to cover it for you.

A brainchild of Lynn, this is like a mini-game for the fans and coaches who can both use this to get a real-world feel for the players and where they are in the competition for the final 53.

“It’s a warmup for the first game to be honest with you. We’ll go through our warm-up routine, the whole thing, just like it’s game day. So, when the guys take the field the following week in Arizona, they’ve done it…It will be ones against ones, twos against twos, threes against threes, and we might switch up — ones against twos, twos against ones, and threes against threes. We’ll throw some special teams in there and we’ll have one live segment and just go at it.” – Head Coach Anthony Lynn

The players are fresh, the weather will be perfect and the closest thing to real football the players, fans, and coaches have seen for a long time will be on display. Check back later today for updates!
