Strengths:

Sticky hands and very crisp route runner. A quarterbacks best friend. Switzer uses his quick twitchy footwork to get open of the snap and is a saavy route runner that knows how to get open. Able to get open in all levels of the field. Very intelligent football player that is clean as they come off the field. Has incredible vision in the open field, weaving through traffic with ease. Makes spectacular catches look easy more than just a chain mover. Elite special teams player that may be the best punt returner in this entire draft class.

Weaknesses:

Size. Switzer isn’t a big guy. Catch radius is small due to his lack of size. See him primarily as a slot receiver and a special teams player but he can be very good at all of those responsibilities. Isn’t the most athletic guy and his combine numbers showed just that.

Pro Comparison:

Cole Beasley

Overall Review:

A NFL Quarterback is going to love Switzer. Gets open with ease and is a very crisp route runner. Type of player that could lead the league in receptions because of how often he is open. Elite returner potential that will play a bigger part in offenses than he’s getting credit for.
