Cowboys Training Camp – Domination

In Oxnard at the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp, head coach Jason Garrett likes to enact “compete” or “challenge” sessions where he matches up two players in a situation to find out who wants it more. He will stage it with set pieces (players) who represent the scenario and then have the entire team surround the combatants before the whistle is blown to begin the contest. It’s usually a lively battle and often hard to call a winner. Occasionally, however, someone gets beat down. Every once in a while someone gets owned.  We were there when someone got dominated.

Enter offensive lineman Marcus Martin. 6’3″, 310 lb, 24-year-old, fifth-year veteran fighting for his NFL existence. His job? Protect the quarterback at all cost. Enjoy the ride. His opponent sure didn’t.
