It was only a matter of time.
The dreaded “anonymous player quote” has arrived in New York.
Giants owner John Mara has remained quiet.
However Giants head coach Ben McAdoo is making repeated claims in the New York press that he has things under control, that the rash of suspensions is SOP and his team didn’t quit on him last week when the upstart Rams literally blew them off of the field.
Remember that 3rd and 33 that went for a TD against a Giants D that seemed to be moving in slow motion and/or watching the jumbotron rather than playing football?
In a developing un-Giants-like situation, ESPN Josina Anderson has just shared information from “unnamed players” giving a revealing look at a broken locker room.

The GMen are a storied organization and it’s rare indeed when “anonymous” quotes sift out of their locker room culture. That, more than anything confirms the issue.
Getting your hat handed to your in your own house to the tune of 51-17 is going to have an impact. Coaches with teams that are on the same page build on challenges like this. Teams that don’t have that cohesiveness break.
