Carolina Panthers Head Coach Ron Rivera stated on Tuesday (after practice) that LB Luke Kuechly is still in the concussion protocol.
Kuechly was spotted at practice, though not as a participant as he was not wearing pads while doing light jogging.
It’s great news to hear that he’s up, moving freely and seemingly recovering well. With concussions however you’re not out of the protocol until you’re out and that exact date is unique to each individual and case. And this isn’t Kuechly’s first case. It’s his third in as many years (that we know about) and at some point someone has to make a call in regards to the talented, young LB’s long term health.
Is that time now?
