According to Ian Rapoport (NFL Network), the Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals have put the finishing touches on a deal that sends CV Jamar Taylor to the Cards who in return ship back a 2020 sixth-round selection.
New Cardinals head coach Steve Wilkes has a defensive background and it’s no secret the team is looking for someone to pair with Patrick Peterson.
The Browns spent a lot of currency on pass defenders and were in a position to move on from the talented CB. Taylor is only 27 years old and at 5’11”, 192 lbs brings a solid presence to Arizona’s back seven defense with his six years experience.
