The Los Angeles Rams (4-0) defeated Minnesota Vikings (1-2-1) 38 to 31 on Thursday Night Football. LA is 4-0 for the first time since 2001 when they went to the Super Bowl that year. Head Coach Sean McVay’s offense was on display from the start of the game. Rams’s Defensive Coordinator Wade Philips’s defense made some key stops late in the game to seal the victory for the team. After tonight’s game, the Rams are clearly the best team in NFC if not the best team in the NFL.
QB Jared Goff was on fire tonight, just shredding the Vikings defense which many experts consider a top 5 defense coming into this game. This highly explosive offense has put up a massive amount of total yards the last two weeks, with Jared Goff undoubtedly the star. Goff followed up an impressive game last week with the best game of his short career this week. Going for 465 passing yards on 26-33 and 5 TDs is just insane when you consider the stout defense his was facing. MVP talks for the young star that were just rumors last week are now a reality this week.
“I am very glad Jared is on my side of the ball,” said Rams defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who had a key second-half sack. “I wouldn’t want to go against him.”-via ESPN
RB Todd Gurley had another big game this week 17 carries 83 rushing yards with 4 catches for 73 yards and 1 Td. Gurley continues to be one of the key parts to this high powered offense. The wide receiver group of Woods, Cooks, and Kupp all had over a 100 yards receiving. The Rams have so many weapons at every position while having the best RB in the league makes them look unstoppable.

Los Angeles defense stepped big time with late-game strip sack to seal the victory against the Vikings. QB Kirk Cousins was lighting up the Rams defense for most of the game. They allowed over 450 yards total offense tonight against the Vikings. All-Pro DT Aaron Donald had himself a night with 2 sacks on QB Cousins. The defense is still one of the best in the league and they faced a really good Vikings team. Suh and the rest of the defense will have their hands full next against the 12th man and QB Russell Wilson.
The ShowTime Rams are rolling right now 4-0 for the first time since HOF QB Kurt Warner was playing in ST. Louis. They have a pretty soft schedule for the rest of season and will need to keep that same intensity. They look like a Super Bowl lock but there is still a lot of football left as we know.
The LA Rams (4-0) travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks (1-2) Oct, 7th, 4:25 pm.
