NFL Draft 2018 – DB Quenton Meeks

Stanford DB Quenton Meeks took time out of his preparation for the 2018 NFL Draft to talk with Connor Livesay.

An NFL blue blood, Quenton Meeks was raised in the NFL family as his dad was an NFL defensive coach from ’91-2012. This includes being the DC for the Super Bowl XLI champs the Indianapolis Colts.

Productive at every level of the sport, Connor walks  Meeks through his early days in the sport, his love of baseball and what it means to see his dream of playing in the NFL come to fruition.

“… it’s just a part of who I am .. ” – CB Quenton Meeks on growing up in the NFL his entire life

An intelligent athlete who has an enticing package of technique, size, and strength. He’s got wheels but not elite quickness. As it is you are looking at a player that will be a solid rotation player at a minimum with nice upside as he adapts to the NFL game.

Some teams undoubtedly are looking at him for the Safety position as he has the physicality and intelligence to make it work, hence the “DB” label versus pure CB.

Livesay keeps it real, puts things in perspective and gives you an “up close” picture of a “top NFL Draft Prospect” for 2018.
