(Former) Ohio State DE Nick Bosa, yes, that Bosa, has officially declared he is preparing for the 2019 NFL Draft.
On Tuesday Ohio State announced Bosa had withdrawn from school in order to prepare full time for the upcoming NFL Draft. This after he underwent surgery after he suffered a core body injury against TCU.
A consensus 1st round selection before the injury, there is no reason to think he will be anything less after he completes his rehab. He was injured quite early in the season and therefore should be fully rehabbed and ready to participate in the NFL Combine and training camp.
Bosa is 6’4″, 263 lbs and has the first step quickness scouts drool over. His standout skill is his ability to hand fight on the move but he also stands out due to his strength and quickness. Not just a one-trick pony, Bosa can set the edge vs the run as well as get after the QB on passing downs.
Bad news for Ohio State but great news for NFL Draft-niks as a possible top-10 selection is already preparing for the NFL Combine.
The 2019 NFL Draft (season) is officially open!
