Devante Kincade is a name you should be listening for during the draft. Last year Kincade had 23 touchdowns versus only 4 interceptions. While watching him you will see his ability to shift around the pocket. He has a dynamic arm and excels running the football. In addition to his vision of the field and being a decision making genius; Kincade doesn’t lose downfield vision or focus under pressure.
It would be safe to say you should question his accuracy. While this may be due to him being such a raw QB, this is something he should practice and refine. On a few plays, you can tell Kincade loses sight of where his receivers are. He will step into the pocket and dance around while searching, by the time it takes him to realize who is open he bolts off down the field with the ball in his hands.
Robert Griffin III
Devante Kincade is a native Texan and is a resident of Dallas. He has the athletic ability to be one of the top QB’s in the upcoming season. Kincade is a diamond in the rough so to speak due to his ability to be a triple threat. He can throw long, throw short, and has cannon speed while running with the ball. One of the other pro characteristics he demonstrates is the ability to be comfortable in the pocket and uses his field vision to gain an advantage. One of the downsides is that while he does have good field vision sometimes he takes too long to make a decision which results in him running with the ball, or him missing opportunities while the receivers aren’t being covered. With all being said I give him to round two before someone drafts him.
