PLAYER NAME – Devine Ozigbo
POSITION – RB
DOB – October 2nd, 1996
Height – 6’0″ Weight – 235 lbs
Ozigbo has just completed his fourth year with Nebraska, we have seen him continue to grow year after year. In 2018 he ran for over 1,000 yards on 155 attempts, averaging 7.7 yards-per-carry. He scored 12 touchdowns and was a shining light for Nebraska who finished the season 4-8.
He has great lateral movement, a dynamic range, knows how to run lanes and has the patience to wait for the right gap. Not only can be run, but he can also catch the football too and makes guys miss. During his college career, he caught 49 passes for 488 yards at an average of 9.9 yards per catch.
There are a lot of running backs in this year’s draft. At least 30 in total. Ozigbo could slip further down the draft order or be overlooked completely due to Nebraska’s weak season.
There is not a lot wrong with this kid. He could easily be the biggest sleeper in the running back class of 2019. Whoever picks him up will have a great ball runner, who could turn into an every-down player.
Late 2nd, early 3rd round.
