Chargers Joey Bosa Injures Left Foot

Say it ain’t so!  But it is, and insofar as injuries go, the news could have been much worse. I saw Dan Woike’s tweet on Bosa and was not pleased one little bit. The pressure on the QB last year was the lead domino in the Chargers resurgence.

The good news is reportedly the injury is minor and Bosa isn’t “expected to miss significant time, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

When you can pressure the QB our DB’s are instantly better, it allows your team to sit on a lead and to dictate the game in the fourth quarter when teams are running out of time. Since Bosa has been with the Chargers, the needle has pointed up for the team in regards to the all-important sack/pressure stats and that shouldn’t change this year.

The team continues to prepare for the upcoming season with their first preseason game occurring in Arizona this Saturday against the Cardinals.
