Antonio Brown is a Raider now. Le’Veon Bell went to the Jets. Both will be fantasy relevant even though they switched teams. Bell is going to go in the first round of most fantasy drafts with A.B. following in the second. The Ravens recently acquired running back Mark Ingram who is also a potential smart second round pick up. Drafting Ingram in your fantasy league this season could be a game changer.
Remember Ravens running back Gus Edwards? The guy some novice fantasy player picked off the waiver wire in week 11 who then went on to beat you the next week, thanks to Edwards 118 yards. Gus was undrafted and targeted twice in the passing game all year. He racked up 677 yards in the Ravens final 8 games and Ingram steps into a prime situation for the upcoming season.
The Ravens are also expected to make some changes on the offense to help Lamar Jackson and the passing game, but this team will still lean on the run. Ingram is a former 1st round draft pick and just 29 years old. He’s rushed for over 1000 yards twice and is a 3 down back. He has 55 touchdowns and 228 receptions with an increased workload expected next year.
Ingram will probably be drafted somewhere around the second or third round in most fantasy leagues. He’s a solid pick up as the 3rd running back in your fantasy lineup. He’s going to rush for over 1000 yards this season and add another 200-300 yards receiving. Ingram’s the ringer this year. Pick him up.
