49ers: Having the Best of Worlds

Last season after the 49ers beat the Seahawks I was so excited. I went on social media to enjoy this win with the rest of the Faithful and was surprised by what I saw. Sure there were many people that were happy for the win, but there were some actually complaining about the win. The Seahawks were a team the 49ers had not beaten in five straight years and finally beat them. But people said the useless win cost us the number one overall pick.

Yes, the win did cost the 49ers the number one overall pick and they entered the offseason with the number two overall pick. But how could you seriously complain about a win, especially when it was against the Seahawks? Here’s the thing though, the stars were aligning for the franchise from the bay. No, they did not have the number one pick, but the Cardinals did. And after the Cardinals hired Kliff Kingsbury, a guy who has wanted Kyler Murray dating back to when Murray was entering college, this could not have been a better situation for the 49ers to be in.

With the 49ers having Jimmy Garoppolo already on the roster, this was just like having the number one overall pick. So the 49ers got their guy in drafting Nick Bosa and they still beat the Seahawks last season, this is what you call the best of both worlds, having your cake and eating it too.

So now the 49ers defensive line looks like Dee Ford, DeForest Buckner, Solomon Thomas, and now Nick Bosa.

Again went on social media and people were upset over the Bosa pick. I spend 13 thousand dollars a year in season tickets for this team and they reward me by drafting Bosa wah-wah-wah cry-cry-cry. I don’t care about Bosa’s political standings. I don’t care if you like President Trump, Hillary, Bernie, or the Easter Bunny. All I care about is he goes out and sacks the bloody quarterback. Welcome to the family Nick Bosa, let’s get to work and push for the championship.

If it ain’t football news, is it worth reading?
