Chicago Re-Signs Ben Braunecker

Bears Make An Early Move

The Chicago Bears made a modest move to re-sign former undrafted free agent, Ben Braunecker. Braunecker, a Harvard Alumni, signed a two-year deal. The third-string tight end is a four-phase special team player. He becomes the second free agent player the Bears have re-signed (Bobbie Massie).

Since 2016, he has appeared in 36 games with four starts.  He has seven passes for 83 yards and 11 special-teams tackles to date. His prowess on special teams made him an attractive piece to Chicago’s roster puzzle. The financial details of the deal have yet to be disclosed.

Until then, stay thirsty and BEAR DOWN! JT out.
