Delaware Safety Nasir Adderley NFL Draft Profile

Nasir Adderley – Safety
Delaware
DOB – 5/31/1997
Height – 5’11” Weight – 200lbs
Twitter: @NasirAdderley

Strengths:

Despite Adderley’s size, he has a physical presence in the backfield. He is athletic, has instincts and is a great tackler. He makes one-handed catches look easy and makes plays with his back to the ball. This is a weak safety class, so he has the potential to go early in the 2nd round to the right team. Expect to see him on special teams early in his career before moving to the starting defense. He has experience as a cornerback and would suit a lot of NFL teams.

Weaknesses:

He is short for safety. He also needs to gain some weight, he needs to be well above 200 pounds. He could be manhandled and out jumped by NFL receivers.

Overall Review:

Adderley has talent in droves. His size hasn’t been a problem in college, if he can gain some weight, he will be a presence in the NFL.
