Disbelief of Gary Neville in the latest Manchester United reports

Gary Neville, who is literally a Manchester United legend, recently shared his personal opinion on what has been going on recently regarding the Glazers’ ownership of the club.

The sale of the club

Overnight, a newspaper carried the ambiguous news that the multi-year sale process has been canceled as the American businessmen did not see the amount of money that was originally requested on the books, by the way, the amount is not small enough. Loyal fans have suffered enough and have long been waiting for Sheikh Jassim or Sir Jim Ratcliffe to come in during the summer window. In November 2022, the first confirmations emerged that the Glazer family said they were exploring strategic alternatives for the club, but other sources claimed they were trying to secure a sum for which they would sell the company in excess of £6 billion. Now, according to new information published by the Mail newspaper, this process has been put on hold and will not continue until 2025, which means that the desired amount could exceed £10 billion. All of this will be possible due to several factors, among which are television revenue and the club World Cup to be held in the United States of America.

Gary Neville’s comments on what is going on

Neville, who was a long time captain of the Glazers and now a former captain, has long not shared the regime in which the Glazers exist and the latest news that he is aware of has no way of convincing him.He doesn’t hide his opinion on the matter and actively shares it on the social network Twitter, not so long ago he wrote that he is confident that the Glazers won’t sell and won’t do anything. He also often talks about how the team’s situation is far from ideal, that they’ve run out of money, that the overall financial situation has long left much to be desired and that the Glazers are in dire need of investment. All these problems are taking a heavy toll on the team and destroying it from within. He is sure that negligence is also to blame, which continues regularly and has no plans to stop yet, and has no doubt that it can continue without any fundraising efforts. Another of his statements is, “Besides, who will be in the minority next to them, given the damage this will do to their reputation?”
